Popular Kenyan club host Ciggie Johnson has revealed that a DNA test has shown he is not the biological father of the child he has raised for the past 12 years.
Johnson said he decided to establish the child’s paternity after years of taking full responsibility for her upbringing. He said his support included paying school fees, rent and other essential expenses while ensuring she had the care and guidance she needed.
According to Johnson, the DNA results came as a painful revelation because he had never considered the child anything other than his own. For more than a decade, he said, he had been present in her life, supporting her and watching her grow.
His disclosure has sparked widespread reactions online, with many people discussing the emotional impact of discovering such information after 12 years of parenting.
Johnson has not publicly disclosed what steps he intends to take following the DNA results.
