Heartbreak As KMTC Student Dies Shortly After Giving Birth In Kisii

Damacline Boyani has left her family in deep mourning after she reportedly died shortly after giving birth in Ogembo, Kisii County, just days after completing her studies at the Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC), Kisii campus.

The young woman had been looking forward to welcoming her newborn after carrying the pregnancy for nine months. However, what was expected to be a joyful moment for her family turned into a heartbreaking tragedy following complications she reportedly developed after delivery.

According to information shared about the incident, Damacline began experiencing labour pains and was taken to Ogembo Hospital, where she was expected to receive medical attention and deliver her baby safely.

She reportedly gave birth successfully, bringing relief to her loved ones, who were eagerly waiting to celebrate the arrival of the newborn. However, the situation allegedly took a worrying turn shortly after delivery when she began complaining of severe pain.

Her condition reportedly worsened, making it difficult for her to see and bond with her baby. Medical personnel are said to have placed her under observation as they monitored her condition.

Despite the efforts to monitor her, Damacline later passed away, leaving her family and friends devastated by the sudden loss.

Her death has left many people saddened, especially because it came at a time when she had just completed an important chapter of her life. Having finished her studies at KMTC Kisii, she had reason to look forward to new opportunities and the future she had worked hard to build.

For her family, the tragedy has been difficult to comprehend. Their hopes of celebrating her academic achievement and welcoming her child have been replaced by grief as they prepare to lay their loved one to rest.
