Motorists using the Nairobi Expressway should brace for partial night closures this week as the operator conducts scheduled maintenance.
In a notice issued on Monday, the operator said the works will run between 10pm and 5am from Westlands to Mlolongo, with traffic diverted to the service lanes below.
Motorists have been advised to plan ahead, with KeNHA promising additional marshals at the James Gichuru, Haile Selassie and Mlolongo exits.
The Expressway, which has cut travel time across the city from 90 minutes to under 25 minutes, now serves more than 60,000 vehicles daily.
