Emotional and Painful Story Behind the 'Drunk Lady' Judy Kirinyagafinest Trending Videos

Judy Mlingo, popularly known on social media as “Judy Kirinyagafinest,” has opened up about the painful experiences behind videos showing her intoxicated in public.

Speaking in an interview, Judy said her battle with alcohol began after the death of her husband in 2018 and was later worsened by family disagreements that separated her from her first-born son.

She said she was left caring for her younger child while struggling with unemployment, financial difficulties and periods without a place to stay.

Judy said alcohol gradually became a way of dealing with the emotional pressure she was facing.

“I have tried everything to quit this alcohol, but it has failed,” she said, explaining that drinking helped her temporarily silence the thoughts troubling her.

She said she would sometimes spend time in local clubs, where patrons bought her drinks even when she could not afford basic needs such as food.

Her struggles became widely known after videos showing her heavily intoxicated and falling in public places circulated on social media.

Judy said the falls have left her with persistent knee pain. She also expressed pain over people who record and mock her instead of helping when she is vulnerable.

She said her seven-year-old son has witnessed some of her struggles, making her children a major concern as she tries to change her life.

Judy said she wants to overcome her alcohol addiction and regain stability so she can provide a better life for her children.
